Glow Day is a special day of reviewing skills learned. It is an outside the box way of engaging students with learning. There are stations (games) that glow to review skills that have been taught. Simply turning off the lights and igniting the classroom with all things that glow, turns all learners' excitement for game playing (learning) up full blast. Students will complete a task card and then play their turn of the game (giant Jenga-like game, corn hole, toss across and basketball toss), all glowing in the dark. Add in glow vests, glow glasses, glow jewelry, and a teacher glowing from head to toe, and it makes for the most fantabulous day of learning in 2nd grade.
