The need for round tables in our classroom is a necessity! Students would use these tables for group work, centers, and most importantly- building relationships with one another. I believe that having students grouped at round tables can enhance the learning process while students work collaboratively. Working in groups and seating within the classroom is a great quality of effective classroom learning. Students in my classroom would benefit academically and socially from working in small groups at these tables. Learning to work collaboratively is a wonderful quality to have while learning academics as well. My students have much to offer each other and with these tables could have so much more to learn from one another!
