Welcome to my first grade classroom! We are a diverse group coming from a variety of cultures and speaking several languages within the classroom (Spanish, French, English). We are a Title I school and 100% of my students receive free breakfast and lunch daily. This year we are transitioning to a Creative Arts & Science Magnet as we are now an A+ School, which is AWESOME! Our curiosities drive instruction, taking the stress off of standardized testing, and enabling genuine learning experiences for all students. We foster critical thinking and problem solving skills throughout the school year through Project-Based Learning and engage with our community as much as possible. However, with all these exciting new opportunities comes a great need for resources that we do not currently have in our classroom. Please consider donating to help us create a classroom most conducive for learning! Thank you in advance.
