These books will add to my bilingual classroom library, providing students with more resources to build their language skills (in both Spanish and English). I want my classroom library to have multiple genres of text, ranging in different reading levels, so all of my students have books they can enjoy and explore. Now that I have had time to get to know my students, I have chosen books that interest them and are at their reading levels. With these books, students will have an opportunity to read books that they enjoy while growing their interest in reading. My students have already shown such a huge interest in reading and I want to provide the best classroom library I can to further grow their interest. By adding more Spanish books to my classroom library, my students will have a chance to read independently through more books and get exposed to multiple genres of text.
