My goal is for my students to become life-long learners through reading. Literacy is the key to all robust learning, whether it is science, history or language. Reading is also a powerful tool for acquiring language. Independent learning and language acquisition are probable if learners have access to meaningful resources. My goal is to help my students begin to learn that reading is fun is perfect way to build better readers. Authentic books are a gateway to better reading skills for reluctant readers.
