My students are second graders who attend a rural Iowa school. They are eager to learn and love school. They have a wonderful sense of community and look forward to bright futures. Our school district is small and budgets have been diminishing. These students deserve to have the same opportunities as the students in more affluent areas. My hope is to provide them those opportunities.
