The Maricopa Life Skills kiddos participate in a lot of fun hands-on learning projects, including; An outside garden, cooking, crafts, projects, daytime prom and community learning and outings, as well as, many on-campus activities throughout the year. Many of our students are non-verbal and using a colored printer as communication picture schedules would provide them an additional way to communicate and can be customized with the event that they are participating in. In addition, I would like each one of the students to create a "Memory Book" throughout the year, as a project based learning experience and share it with their family members at the end of the year.
