My students need a mat, cushions/pillows, a bench & table to provide flexible seating to meet the needs of all types of learners. In order to preserve their work, a laminator & pouches would be useful. A learning environment sets the tone in any classroom. With the materials requested, students will be able to learn in a class setting that provides all types of learners a variety of opportunities to excel in the curriculum at hand. Traditional seating isn't for everyone and these flexible seating options will provide different types of high, medium and low seating arrangements to help keep students engaged while giving them the freedom to move around as needed. Providing students with feedback and models will help them understand what is expected of them. Laminating their work and posting it will preserve it longer and it can also be kept for their graduation portfolios.
