Seat sacks are an absolute necessity especially when a class has over 30 students. I want to teach the children the importance of organization but it will be difficult without providing them with a place to organize their supplies. Desks have been phased out of classrooms in my school and students now sit at tables. My class next year will be remaining in one room for all subject areas. Without seat sacks kids will have to keep backpacks next to their seats throughout the entire day to have access to books and supplies. With over 30 students in the class, this will be quite hazardous and not conducive to learning. If the class has seat sacks they would be taught to place necessary supplies into their seat sacks in an organized way for easy access. This will help the day run much more smoothly. The classroom will be tidy and not be full of backpacks on the floor, which would be easy for children and adults to trip over. Without seat sacks I’m not sure how my students will be able to have easy access to the items they need for everyday learning.
