These supplies will help students complete inquiry-based projects throughout the school year. We use a lot of sketch notes and completing visual representations of concepts so the multiple mediums of coloring options will be used so students can choose what best works for them. Student engagement increases when they have the ability to choose how to best represent their learning. We use choice boards throughout the units so that students can decide how they want to represent what they have learned. Lots of students often choose a tactile project that requires different types of coloring devices or gluing or stapling to complete. These supplies will be used throughout the school year so that students can complete multiple projects.
