In the Young Adult Program, I provide speech therapy to students with developmental disabilities, ages 18-22! We work on being social in the school, community, and vocational settings along with developing and maintaining peer friendships. A big emphasis is on encouraging the students to be proactive with their social lives outside of the program so that they can maintain friendships after graduation.
