In order to provide a safe and successful learning enviroment my students will need resources to help them succeed. As a first year teacher I will use these resources to ensure the success, safety, and learning needs of my students are met. My students will be successful by being engaged in a lot of group work so supplies like easel paper will allow them to work together to create posters that express their learning. Laminating sheets will be a useful resource during group work to ensure academic games and learning resources are durable. My students will need a safe classroom which includes knowing where resources are. The resources will be organized in the learning environment with pocket charts, book shelves, and storage items. These items will allow resources to be accessible to students safely. Not all students learn the same way so having flexible seating and organization in the classroom allows individual learning needs to be met. Stools and organization resources allow students to have a choice in their learning environment without causing stress.
