My students currently do not have many books available in our classroom library. When they finish an assignment, they cannot get a book from the library all the time, I have them read a book. The books will be in the classroom library or in students book bags for them to read. During their Daily 5 center rotation they will be reading these books as well as taking AR tests on these book. These books will help have them readily available and keep my students reading. In return, their love of reading and their reading levels will increase. The chapter books, like the Junie B. Jones books, will help my students build stamina for the EOGs in 3rd grade. They are also funny and will interest my students.
