My students attend an overcrowded public school in NYC. They come from homes where parents cannot afford to buy them books or take them to the library. Some cannot even afford to buy new clothes or shoes for their children. It is heartbreaking, but school becomes their second home. When it comes to learning, they need experiences that are memorable, because usually their parents do not continue the learning at home. I want high-interest, motivating products for my students so they can learn as much as possible and learn to read before they reach second grade.
