Each student in my classroom has a Chromebook, and they will create many digital products that deserve to be prominently displayed in our classroom during the school year. This year my fifth graders will create a variety of digital artifacts to show and share their learning. Some of the creations they will make include animated GIFs about grammar, digital posters about vocabulary words, and videos about the books they have read. I have requested a large television and a mobile stand so I will be able to easily display the digital products my students create this year and in future years. I will attach an extra Chromebook to the requested large screen so we can set a Google Slides presentation to automatically advance through a slideshow of student work. The slideshow will continually be updated to show off our latest student creations. Our slideshow will also be posted online so that other teachers can put our creations on display in their classrooms. Kids from all over the world can learn and be inspired by all the hard work my students put into their digital creations. The recognition that comes from a spotlight on their work will inspire even more creativity and greater achievements. Displaying productions on a big, bright display will help foster a culture of sharing, reflecting, and refining. As responsible world citizens, our class will be happy that we will be saving paper and printer ink by keeping our creations digital. Thank you for donating to this project.
