Upon the return to in person learning we are seeing the repercussions of a lack of traditional education and social involvement that students have endured. With game like activities in small structured groups we can incorporate both the missing academic skills, as well as the social skills that student need help enhancing. These resources will be used to support struggling young readers develop their early reading and writing skills through game like practice in phonics, reading, and writing. In addition, to the academic skills students will have access to much need peer interactions. (RF.1.(2) Phonological Awareness, RF.1.(3) Phonics and Word Recognition and W.1.(4-6) Production and Distribution of Writing)
