I feel it is important for students to learn to care for books and return them to the proper book bin or to the classroom library. They also need to have a place to put puzzles away. Whiteboards and dry erase markers need a place. Art supplies and paper need to be easily accessible for the children. These materials will increase student responsibility and help my classroom routines run smoothly. Children will be able to choose an activity, get the supplies they need and know where to return them. Spending time with kindergarten children to help them learn organizational skills is my goal.
