My Lucky Ladybug kindergarten class will absolutely become more fluent readers with the wonderful Lakeshore Leveled Readers. The readers will become our classroom library where the kinders will be able to choose books according to what they can read and understand. This is so important since students will not become frustrated with books that have too many unknown words. Students will have the chance of reading at their abilities all day in the classroom and not having to wait to go to the media center to get books. The Lakeshore Leveled Readers correlate with my school's reading assessment system, so I can trust the books are the correct ones for my students' independent reading. No more flipping through books and getting bored because they are too hard!
