My magnet school provides a supportive, responsive environment that appropriately challenges each student's abilities and creativity through a fast-paced, in-depth and complex curriculum while providing students guidance developing their unique talents. Many students enter our program never having experienced challenges that push the limits of abilities - in our classrooms with us they embrace perseverance and learn to love school! All of my students are highly gifted, but the way they learn best is unique to each of them. In my classroom we encourage a variety of learning strategies, both individual and group work, flexible alternative seating, fidgets and doodling, and even a classroom therapy dog to ensure that each student's needs are met each day. Families who join our program often say that they didn't know how enjoyable education could be for highly gifted learners until they found us.
