This year, I spent over $600 of my own money on these Elegoo coding kits and sensors to teach students how to use programming language to engineer different types of energy. The excitement in them when they complete a project gives you butterflies as an educator. They troubleshoot, collaborate, research, and communicate for the shear joy of completing the project of their choice with these Elegoo kits. I need 10 more kits so that the building of projects becomes more individualized. This summer, we are having students develop engineering-electronics curriculum for future generations of students to teach them the basics of electronics and energy. To have enough kits would mean for us to develop this curriculum on a more 1-to-1 level. This means more hands-on time for more students.
