Flexible seating has proven to provide exceptional benefits to students while learning. Not only will they get to wiggle their ideas out, but it will give them the freedom and the decision-making ability to choose the best seating option to help them optimize their learning! Students will be rationalizing what seating options best suit their own learning styles. My students are wiggly learners! They love to move around and learn kinesthetically. I find that when we are moving the students are learning best! Our day is set up so that we have our breaks at times that are not ideal for young learners. We want to find ways to keep our learning fun and engaging! We have so many amazing things to learn in second grade!
