A classroom should be the safest place in the world, but it's easier said than done during a global pandemic. I try each day to make sure my students feel safe and loved in my classroom, but the reality is they too feel the anxiety of what's happening in the world around us. My goal is to create a safe, healthy space for my students. These materials will allow me to create a DIY air purifier, called the Corsi-Rosenthal Cube. These materials will help keep the air in our classroom clean and in turn keep my students healthy. I desperately want to keep my students well this year. Each time a student is sick or has to quarantine, they miss valuable learning time. I want to prevent learning gaps by keeping them *at* school. The Corsi-Rosenthal Cube would be a big step in the direction of health and learning.
