I know my first-year teaching won't be easy...just like the saying goes, it takes a village! I want my classroom to be one where my 5th graders feel motivated and excited to come to school every day and learn. The materials on this list are all materials that I have seen other teachers use, or items that teachers told me were "MUST HAVES." The storage cubbies are the item on this list I am most excited about! It’s an easy way to do all of that giving and collecting work. It’s also an easy way to glance over the mailboxes and see which little lovely didn’t turn in spelling homework. The organizers, drawers, and shelves were 'essentials' that were recommended to me by my past teachers. They said that these would be crucial when storing student worksheets, tests, and other daily assignments. Every little bit helps! All the items in this project are going to be used as I set up my first classroom at the beginning of August this year! I am trying to put as much money as I can into my class, but I need your help.... donate...and share this to spread the word! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
