My goal this year is to make my classroom feel like home for my students. I know that a rug will be used daily as a place to read with a friend, collaborate with a partner, and listen to others during class meeting. A classroom rug is the perfect meeting place. Flexible wobble cushions will help me reach my goal of creating a comfortable learning environment for each student. My students would greatly benefit from their own dry erase board and marker in order to actively participate in lessons. I will be able to quickly assess understanding by clearly seeing their work. The pencil pouch will hold their math tools so that they are easily accessible when needed.
