If you haven’t seen 4th graders transform from 9 year olds into engineers and scientists, then you are missing out! With these kits, students will be able to see force and motion, instead of reading about it in textbooks. They will explore simple machines, because they will build them. STEM requires integrated learning where problem solving and engineering practices are included, where technology is seamlessly integrated, with high expectations for achievement. STEM activities allow students to become problem solvers, build teamwork, and meet math/science standards, while having fun. My students need the kits in order to help them think, discover, explore, and process like scientists. They will use the materials to engage in high-quality, hands- on learning experiences in science, technology, engineering, and math. These materials meet standards for many 4th grade science and math standards. Please consider donating and shaping our future scientists and engineers. A donation will change my students’ lives for the better because the STEM projects will serve as an educational foundation that will blossom into a love of math and science learning, starting at an early age and continuing into adulthood. Instilling this love of learning is vital in students’ academic and social growth.
