The use of a 3D printer will allow students to become familiar with the design and engineering processes. Students will be able to design something on the computer to solve a real world problem and see it come to life right before their eyes with the use of a 3D printer. My students become really excited any time we complete a STEM project, a 3D printer would allow us to take a simple STEM project to the next level! The 21st Century skills they will develop with the use of this technology will help shape their future. Students will learn how to problem solve, communicate with their peers, work as a team, think critically and solve problems creatively. All of these skills will have a positive impact on their lives as they grow up.

About my class
