I believe that the requested Prefix & Suffix Word Building Tiles will make a huge impact on my students by building their Vocabulary and Spelling knowledge. It will give students hands-on opportunities to see how prefixes and suffixes work together with root words to create meaning. Teaching prefixes and suffixes is an important part of building better readers. Whether in the early years or advancing through college, all students can learn prefixes and suffixes and use that knowledge to become more proficient in language arts. Understanding the meanings of prefixes and suffixes along with root words substantially increases a student's vocabulary and will give students the ability to determine a word's meaning without having to look it up.
