This carpet is vital to our classroom community. We meet as a group for our morning meeting, calendar time, for every whole group lesson, and when we take our shake breaks! It's difficult for my Kindergarteners to transition to the floor without a specific place to sit. This carpet will provide my students a place to learn, grow, share, and show! Along with giving my students a specific spot to sit, a carpet would tremendously help with participation and partner collaboration. I want my students to feel welcome and comfortable throughout the day. I love this carpet and believe its design will meet the needs of my Kindergarteners!
