Our 5th grade classroom has been participating in the #classroombookaday challenge. The challenge is about sharing and exposing students to many different pictures books. We have been participating in the challenge since the first day of school and I have seen firsthand the power of sharing stories and the joy of a read aloud. This simple idea has been proving to have a really big impact. I am asking for pictures books that will build my current library. More specifically, I am looking to add titles that will create a more diverse collection of books that connect to my students, their experiences, and will build a stronger sense of community.
