I am try to build a since of community and a love of reading with my students. However, many of my students come from low income households with vey little experience of the world around them. Time magazines for kids gives these kids a glimpse of the world around them and what is out there for them. Time magazine allows students to learn about current events in an age appropriate way. It also helps reluctant readers to want to read. The information is interesting for students and the format is different from their textbook or library book. By donating to our project you are helping students see beyond the four walls of a classroom and inspiring them to dream.
