I teach in a small K-5 school in Eastern Kentucky. Most of my students come from low economic households. They are smart, talented and eager to learn, given the right tools and direction. I spend a lot of personal money on my classroom to make it as "kid friendly" as I can. Having 26 students in a classroom does make it difficult to buy some items that may be needed to spark their interest.
