Hello all! I am a brand new certified teacher in Hamilton County this year. During the last school year I volunteered over 2,000 hours at East Lake Elementary. I have graciously accepted a Kindergarten position there upon my completion of a Master's degree. This school is full of so much opportunity. The majority of our students come from Guatamala and are eager to learn as much as they can. I look forward to staying in this school for as long as they will have me and widening the gates to the original Melting Pot of America. My students are my educators and I am a mere vessel on their journey to making a life in a world so big. My hope is to create a classroom full of color, technology and hands on learning. I wish to have books within every child's reach and an ambiance of serenity to enable efficient learning.
