On October 25th, my students will be taking part in Jumpstart's Read for the Record where families from around the world will all read the SAME book on the SAME day! Reading is such an important aspect of education. Making reading part of a daily routine at such a young age allows students to truly develop a love for reading that will continue the rest of their lives. By providing my students with their own copies of "Maybe Something Beautiful," they can take part in the worldwide reading event! I am aiming to provide all of my students with a copy of the children's book "Maybe Something Beautiful" by F. Isabel Campoy. This book tells the true story of a community who transforms their neighborhood through public art. After reading this story together as a class, I would love for each student to be able to have their own copy to add to their libraries at home.
