What's worse than struggling in school? Being a struggling learner in a threatening or boring classroom. I strive to provide my students with a calm soothing location. It is imperative that my students remain calm and are willing to take chances when they are with me. By providing a classroom setting with the comforts of home such as calm lighting and a beautiful rug to read on, I believe it will be much easier for my students to learn this year. The rug I am requesting will take up the entire floor space in my room. It will be used to brighten up the room as well as to provide a comfortable area that students can relax and read on.
