I cannot express enough the value of children learning through play. As a first grader, there is a huge transition from Kindergarten, as academics become a larger focus. I want to be able to offer my students the chance to play through learning so that they continue to love learning. Each morning, my students will have the chance to choose a morning tub that has a different activity. These activities range from STEM to art to letters and reading to creative design. I will set expectations for how morning choice time works, but students will be able to be creative and learn through play! Research has time and time again proved the importance of play.
