Our readers need a variety of sources to quench their curiosity about the world around them. These students are high needs readers, many of whom are reading below grade level, without a lot of resources. Some are still learning English and others need more practice understanding what they read. These non-fiction, high interest articles will give them a chance to read while learning about their world. The lesson plans, graphic organizers, and writing assignments that come with each magazine help them organize and understand what they have read. Students will be able to discuss current events and learn more about their world through high interest text.
