These book bins will be used in our classroom for our Reading Workshop time-slot in the First Grade schedule. They will use these bins to put their Leveled Reading books in, as well as their Reading Journals. A few school supplies and other various reading resources will be added to their bins. They will get lots of use throughout the day! They will use these on a daily basis during their independent reading time. They will also use them to carry their Reading Workshop materials to other classes when we will be flexibly grouping our students. These book bins will help them keep track of their own reading and will help them become responsible of their own materials and supplies.
