My students are part of a personalized learning classroom. As part of their student agency, they are given the opportunity to sit anywhere in the classroom. We do not have assigned seats, nor are students required to sit at a desk. As a personalized learning classroom in a traditional school setting, the biggest cost issue comes from gathering flexible seating options. I have an ample supply of desks and tables, that have been raised and lowered to the desire of my students. If it's not a hard, plastic chair, it's not an option in our school, you can help change that! You can do that by donating to our flexible seating project. The variety of seating options my students are hoping to receive includes floor seats, bean bag seats, wobble cushions and balance ball seats. They are especially excited about the potential of using bean bag chairs and low sitting chairs. They wanted to say a great big THANK you ahead of time for thinking of them and for supporting them on their educational journey.
