These new headphones will allow all of our kindergarten students to clearly hear sight words, numbers, letters and sounds in apps and programs. During center time students are able to choose from different apps on the iPad that support the learning and current standards we are working on. The current headphones we have only work in one ear or are falling apart. We need to replace these with brand new ones that work and function properly. These headphones will support our mission which gives students the tools to be technologically literate citizens. We are always striving to incorporate technology into each and every lesson and activity. So many apps and programs require our students to hear and interact or make choices based on what was said. These headphones will give them an opportunity to practice skills they have already learned as well as learn how to navigate a computer.
