The Scholastic MATH, Scope , and Review Skills magazines will be a great resource for attacking new concepts and review concepts to brush up on. The students can pace themselves on the completion of each article and make sure they understand a concept before moving on. They also can refer back to the articles for study time and refreshers. The magazines will also be a great way for them to read fresh new articles that are geared for their age group! My special education students will approach learning with new enthusiasm because they will consider it a special treat to use these on 6th grade spiral skills review and interesting reading in a new medium of magazines!
