During the 2017-2018 school year, students in grade four technology ratio is 3:1. I have attempted to infuse Chromebooks and Google Apps for Education in my daily instruction, but it is difficult when there is not a computer for every child. Five Chromebooks will contribute to my goal of having a 1:1 student/computer ratio for JC's 4th graders. With an infusion of technology in daily instruction I can bring the World to my classroom and help enhance students' collaboration, critical thinking skills and overall engagement. A 1:1 ratio will give my students the opportunity to compete with their peers across the state, the country and the World.
