The students that I serve are visual learners. Having a printer with not only black, but colored ink leaves the possibilities endless in my classroom. A printer would help the students add visual aids to their upcoming projects There isn't a color printer in our whole building. If my students find a colorful picture that will attract attention to their project, they have no way to print it in color. The color pictures will enhance their projects. A printer would also allow students to publish their writings, and provide a showcase to their parents/guardians/friends that they could be proud of. However, at my school, it's often a challenge to print anything due to other teachers already printing out copies, and the copier/printer not working and/or always jammed. In addition, students do not have to leave the classroom in order to print their materials that they would like to include in their projects.
