How exciting would school be if you could build and design using toys? I've been incorporating the use of LEGOs and K'NEX since I began teaching, but need to expand my collection of resources so that they can be used more frequently! STEM materials help foster and deepen children's understandings of real life concepts, while sparking curiosity and motivation. These FUN materials would be used for real-life projects in math, science, engineering and even social studies. Trying to explain solar energy to even the most interested 8-year old can be challenging without a real example! Real examples take learning to the next level.
