Flexible seating options encourage students to think about how they learn best. When given a task to complete, students will be able to select a space in our classroom where they can work together or independently. We will use the chairs to gather in pairs or small groups or to read a book independently. The chairs can be easily cleaned between classes and they are light enough to move around the room. Adding a new flexible floor chairs will give my students another option to choose from while they work on their reading and writing skills. Our classroom environment thrives on collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking.
