Our cadets are in trailers without potable drinking water. We have physical training 2-3 times per week, requiring the cadets to make the 6 minute walk to the school whenever they need water. The water dispenser will assist in ensuring the cadets can remain hydrated and improve overall safety of instruction. We currently purchase water bottles, the dispenser will assist to reduce the use of plastic water bottles. Our cadet leaders train in and out of the classroom. We are teaching some fundamentals of orienteering and mountaineering and require a climbing rope to enhance our instruction. We have additional needs for carabiners and harnesses but are unable to find a reasonable source. The rope will get us started as the cadets learn to tie knots and build a rope bridge.
