My students are usually drawn to placements that stand out most in our classroom. The bright colors and the different seating option will give my students something to work towards. Something as simple as flex seating will spark instant interest in whatever the area is used for. My school has a literacy focus, but considering the fact that we are departmentalized, we must be creative and intentional when integrating literary throughout the curriculum. Mathematics requires a massive amount of reading and writing, so it would be great to promote that within my classroom, all while creating a fun and comfortable environment. Let's work!
