Due to the high prices of music scores, the music program is limited to a few new music scores per year, but their part of the budget has been minimizing drastically. One of the benefits of providing new music scores to Parkview Middle School is that students will have new pieces of music to challenge them and challenging music will allow them to improve musically. Parents of the students will also get to see how much fun their children are having all while they’re learning not only how to play and read music, but other important life skills as well. Students will also be presented with a sense of community that being part of a group or club provides. You can see from our photo that we get an opportunity to join the high school band for a half time show. This is an awesome opportunity for a sense of community and collaboration from grades 7-12!
