Students are driven by their stomachs sometimes. I hope to capitalize on this by rewarding them for being kind to each other with a sweet treat. Hopefully, the treats will reinforce positive behaviors from the students which will have a far bigger impact in class, hallways, and life in general. We want to make the positive so loud you do not hear/see the negative. I would like to improve school climate and culture where the kids feel it’s ok to help each other out. It’s ok to sit by or talk to a stranger or even a person they have been in class with whom they have never spoken to.
