The items that I am requesting will make a huge difference in the rigor of our STEM science labs. Technology is an important piece in STEM. We use computers to research topics that we are studying and design ideas. We are studying specific topics such as: plants only found in Florida, Florida wildlife, life cycles of certain species, and ways engineers design bridges. Computers will help us research our topics of study and enhance our lessons. The donations will improve our STEM lab for all the classes that I teach, from K through 4th grade. My students’ lives will be touched because they will be able to perform deeper, meaningful experiments and make connections to the real world around them.
