Students will learn about how science affects our world, the stories behind famous scientists who made a difference, and see people like them represented in the books. Several Spanish books are included for our Entering / Emerging students to increase access for all students to the world of science. Our students are interested to know more about how and why science impacts our lives every day, but having easy access to books that can provoke their thinking and inspire them to a world outside of the Bronx will make a big difference. Students have a natural curiosity that they want satisfied, and having their own independent access to a science library will enable them to explore that curiosity.

About my class
